M. Night Shyamalan and Bruce Willis Are Reuniting for 'Labor of Love'

"The Sixth Sense" director M. Night Shyamalan and star Bruce Willis are hoping to recreate some of that blockbuster hit's magic when they re-team for a new project, "Labor of Love."

Deadline reports that the two are in talks to make a movie from one of the first scripts Shyamalan ever sold. Fox bought it in 1993, but the project sat idle as the studio didn't want him to direct (at the time). It was revived when Denzel Washington expressed interest in it a few years ago, but now Willis appears poised to reunite with his "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" director for a third time.

"Labor of Love" tells the story of a Philadelphia book store owner who loses his wife in a car accident. The grief-stricken man regrets not telling her how much he loved her, so he embarks on a cross-country walk to Pacifica, California, her favorite place.

There are no supernatural elements to "Labor of Love," unlike Shyamalan's later films. So, guess we shouldn't expect a twist that the wife shows up alive at the end of the trip? (Or should we?)
