This Video of Jennifer Lawrence Comforting a Sobbing Fan Will Make You Cry

We all know that Jennifer Lawrence is brilliant and sexy and talented and that her new haircut is both adorable and brave, but did we also know that she's more or less the nicest person on earth? Well, it seems that she is. At the London premiere of her forthcoming blockbuster "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," the Oscar-winning actress noticed a young fan sobbing behind a security barrier and stopped an interview to go console her.

According to the Daily Mail, the little girl was in a wheelchair and looked overcome by the sincere kindness Lawrence showed her (although the same website made fun of Lawrence's stunning dress, so take it all with a grain of salt). Lawrence took the time to talk to the little girl and hug her, and it's an altogether moving moment, deeply human and genuine, which is odd because it's at a pompous red carpet premiere where a premium is put on glittery, nonsensical artifice.

Next week, look to Lawrence to solve world hunger, stabilize the global economy, and bring back Crystal Clear Pepsi. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," which costars a bunch of people who would probably never have been as nice as Lawrence (based on pure speculation), opens on November 22.
