Don't Freak Out But Benedict Cumberbatch Is Probably Engaged

Brace yourself before reading this.

Some eagle-eyed reader spotted the following in the classified section of The Times:

Yep, it sounds all too likely that the possibly-maybe future Dr. Strange is getting hitched to his girlfriend Sophie Hunter. Hunter went to Oxford and L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, and she's an award-winning theater director and actress. She appeared in 2004's "Vanity Fair" with Reese Witherspoon, and in 2009's "Burlesque Fairytales" with Cumberbatch, as well as a few other TV projects. However, she's usually busy directing operas and assorted stage productions; she snagged the prestigious Samuel Beckett Award in 2007 for her experimental play "The Terrific Electric," which she wrote and directed. Frankly, she sounds pretty darn awesome, so everyone needs to just chill out.

Cumberbatch's next film, "The Imitation Game," hits theaters November 28.
