There have been a few cancellations from the Fall 2014 crop of new shows so far (RIP, "Manhattan Love Story," "Selfie," and more ...), but the fate of many freshman programs still remains to be seen. Lucky for this season's roster, nothing was given the boot right off the bat. But it happens.
Yes, sometimes even the most promising and promoted new series don't even made it past one night on air. You saw the billboards, you watched the promos, and then poof -- that thing you thought you maybe were gonna watch is gone. Let's remember these one episode wonders, shall we? "Short-lived" is a kind way to describe these 8 TV shows that were given the axe after just one shot.
