Well, it looks like the still-untitled Bond 24 has found its villain. According to Daily Mail columnist (and caps lock enthusiast) Baz Bamigboye, the two-time Academy Award-winning actor has signed on for the new James Bond adventure, to once again star Daniel Craig (working for his "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes). According to Bamigboye, the shoot starts in early December and shooting locations include Morocco, Austria, Italy, London and Mexico.
Even though this is still very much speculation, if it is true, it's pretty perfect, huh? Waltz oozes charm and sophistication and can turn on the malevolence pretty high if he wants to (like in his first Oscar-winning role in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds," as the evil Nazi "Jew Hunter"). He is going to be a great Bond bad guy.
Waltz, who can next be seen in "Horrible Bosses 2" and in Tim Burton's terrific Christmas Day release "Big Eyes," would join a cast that already includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Dave Bautista and the insanely gorgeous and wonderful Lea Seydoux.
There's usually a gala press conference around this time of year to announce the title, additional cast members and some plot specifics, so that should be right around the corner. By the grace of god, they're going to put this thing together for a November 6th, 2015 release date. If it kills them.
