'Sons of Anarchy' Reveals Final Season Premiere Date, Announces Live Aftershow

WARNING: The following post contains spoilers about the end of season six and beginning of season seven of "Sons of Anarchy." Read on at your own risk.

FX biker drama "Sons of Anarchy" finally has a premiere date for its last season: The show will begin its final batch of episodes on September 9.

The premiere will be super-sized, clocking in at one hour and 45 minutes, and be immediately followed by a live aftershow, "Anarchy Afterword." "Afterword," which premiered last year as a web series and is hosted by Chris Franjola ("Chelsea Lately"), will also air a live episode following the series finale, which does not yet have an air date.

Per the network, the seventh "SOA" season will pick up just 10 days after the events of the sixth season finale from December. Jax, played by Charlie Hunnam, is "in jail on a parole violation, grappling with the loss of the woman he loved," according to a press release. "With the club's full support, he sets in motion the brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution."

That synopsis explains where Marilyn Manson's character, a white supremacist prison power player, fits into the series. The shock rocker is set to appear in a handful of episodes throughout the season. Manson will be joined by fellow musician Courtney Love, who's playing a potential love interest for Jax, in a multi-episode arc.

Tune in to "Sons of Anarchy"'s final season on September 9.
